History
From humble beginnings, ST Civil has expanded over time to be the established major player in the upper North iraq civil construction industry that we see today. The company was founded by RAED WAHEEB ST in 1993 under the name ST office Builders Limited. Growth of this small, sole-proprietor building operation was inevitable as ST to take on larger projects over a larger geographical area. Despite 7 years of successful operation in the building industry, R.W sensed further opportunities in the civil construction industry and the company s strategic direction was altered to take advantage of these opportunities. The company name was changed from ST Office to ST Company General Contracting and Trading Limited ..
This decision proved to be very prudent as ST achieved steady growth due to the successful completion of a variety of regional projects. The company had now become medium-sized with increased staff levels and turnover.
In 2006 RW changed the company name to ST Civil Limited with the vision of becoming an even larger and more comprehensive civil construction organization. The continuing desire for quality and professional service was reaffirmed with this change. Since 2006 ST Civil has gone from strength to strength, taking on larger and more ambitious projects. Project and contract management systems have been re-engineered to guarantee customer satisfaction. ST Civil achieved QEST accreditation in 2008 and also updated their Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures. With a long and intimate history, it is no wonder the culture at ST Civil is one of continual improvement. With this can-do attitude we, at ST Civil, are excited to confront the challenges and seize the opportunities the future will bring.

We are currently a QEST accredited contractor, are TNZ TSQ1 certified, and are working towards compliance with ISO 9001-Quality Management Systems.

Currently, we have approximately 35 staff on our team with a wide range of experience and skills to ensure we can successfully deliver on any project. Please note that if we do not currently have any equipment that is required for a project we will hire it for the duration of that project at discounted prices and these savings are passed on to the customer. ST Civil is involved in civil construction and engineering in the following areas:
Bridging & Structural
STCivil specialize in the construction of bridges, piling, foundations, wharves, marinas and other such structures.
Reading & Pavement
STCivil manages major roading contracts throughout the Upper North Island. We undertake projectsranging from large transit and council roads to small rural roads including bridging, culverts, signage, and traffic management. We also manage the surfacing of roads, driveways, carparks, sports facilities and footpaths.
Specialist Pile Driving
STCivil specialize in piling and foundation works. We have carried out foundation works for bridges and structures as well as dynamic compaction for foundations.
Bulk Cartage & Heavy Transport
ST Civil has a number of six wheeler plus trailer units with highly skilled drivers available for bulk cartage work. We also have tractor units and a heavy transporter able to cart up to 75 Tonne.
Water & Wastewater
ST Civil have extensive experience in reticulation projects, rising mains and pump stations as well as new water and wastewater treatment plant and upgrades of existing plants. We have the technical expertise on top of our project management experience to co-ordinate the multi-disciplinary demands that come with managing projects of this nature.
